WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM – WITH FISH OIL?



CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Wireless Flash) – Here’s a fishy treat: a food developer has created a fish oil ice cream. Food developers at Arthur D. Little Inc. concocted the new ice cream for consumers who hate eating fish but want the health benefits of the Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish. Head food chemist Dr. Marv Rudolph says the hardest part was to create an ice cream that doesn’t have a fishy flavor or smell. Rudolph says plain vanilla wasn’t strong enough to cover up the fish oil taste, but a combination vanilla/orange flavor does the trick. There’s no word as to when the fishy ice cream will be available to the public.
