ANTHONY HOPKINS’ AGE-OLD PROBLEM

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Recent photos of Anthony Hopkins posing in Rio with Bill Clinton are causing “age-old” problems with producer Dino DeLaurentis. Gossip reporter Baird Jones says Dino is angry because the pictures of the 63-year-old Hopkins show him looking positively ancient – and that could affect plans for the next Hannibal Lecter film, Red Dragon. The problem? The film is a “prequel,” not a sequel, and takes place 20 years in the past – right when Hannibal first started killing people. It’s expected that a huge chunk of the special effects budget will be needed just to make Hopkins look 20 years younger and sources say Dino doesn’t like Hopkins calling attention to that fact.
