PAPERLESS P.O. BOX SENDS POSTAL MAIL BY E-MAIL
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) A new company in San Francisco has figured out a way to send folks their regular postal mail by e-mail. The so-called Paperless P.O. Box service uses high-speed extraction machines to open peoples written mail, which is then scanned into a computer file which is sent to the recipient by e-mail. Founder David Nale says the service is ideal for frequent travelers who want to see their postal mail before they return from their trip. He says folks who sign up for the $16.95 a month service have to sign a release form to allow Paperless P.O. Box to open their mail as tampering with another persons mail is a federal offense. You can check out the service at paperlesspobox.com.
