THE SHOW GOES ON FOR SLAYER

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Slayer isn’t letting the recent air terrorist scare keep them from flying to Europe to kick off a tour tomorrow (Sep. 18) in Belgium. Although the band’s co-headliners Pantera have dropped out of the “Tattoo the Planet” European tour, Slayer plans to make the show go on and will add some local bands to the bill. Vocalist Tom Araya admits the band is concerned about the potential dangers of traveling now but they don’t want to disappoint their European fans. In his words – “...many kids in Europe have experienced attacks and assaults and terrorism throughout their lives, so I think Slayer should make the effort to go over there to play for them.”
