WORLD’S FIRST UFO ABDUCTION OCCURRED 40 YEARS AGO (SEPT. 19)

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (Wireless Flash) – Tomorrow marks an important event in UFO history: The 40th anniversary of the world’s first reported alien abduction. On September 19, 1961, Barney and Betty Hill of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, reportedly were abducted aboard a disc-shaped craft and given medical examinations by a group of aliens. Betty Hill, who is now 82, says the E.T.s were bald, big-eyed and only about 5 feet tall but, otherwise, they looked human. Although most people wouldn’t want to be probed and poked by aliens, Mrs. Hill says the encounter wasn’t bad at all. In fact, afterwards, she invited the aliens to visit her anytime. So far, the E.T.s haven’t taken up her offer and she doesn’t expect them anytime soon. In her words, “The recent terrorist attacks have probably made [E.T.s] give up on us entirely.”
