THE LONE RANGER RIDES AGAIN

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash) – The Lone Ranger’s famous “Hi-Yo Silver Away!” may soon be returning to the air waves. A Las Vegas-based actor named Scott Shepherd will appear as the Ranger for a new public service announcement for a police memorial fund and he may play the masked man in an upcoming TV series. Shepherd prepared for the part by training with horses and says the most important lesson was knowing what NOT to do when two horses get amorous – like the day his horse broke free of its ropes and got frisky with a mare. Shepherd says he nearly lost his pinky finger when he tried to pull his horse back. The public service announcement won’t air until next year, but before then, Shepherd will appear as the Lone Ranger at the Calico Ghost Town Days October 6 in Yermo, California.
