SHORT ATTENTION SPAN FILM FESTIVAL

SHORT ATTENTION SPAN FILM FESTIVAL

ATHENS, Ga. (Wireless Flash) – Got a minute? That’s about all you need to enjoy one of the movies at a film festival currently touring the U.S. The Short Attention Span Film and Video Festival is open only to movies that are shorter than two minutes and features 59 super-short shorts. Organizer Jason Thrasher says so far the film that’s getting the most reaction from audiences is a 45-second clip of a kid sledding into a metal pole entitled Sledding Accident 1986. He’s says the irony of the Short Attention Span Film and Video Festival is that you actually have to have a long attention span to get through the whole show since there’s so much information to absorb. The next stop for the touring film fest is Savannah, Georgia, on September 21 and it will wrap up in New York this December.
