UNEMPLOYED DUTCHMAN NOW REINCARNATED AFRICAN KING?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – A new documentary could make a movie star out of an unemployed Dutch construction worker who is believed to be the reincarnation of an African tribal chief. The movie, Togbe, is the true story of Henk Otte, a middle-aged Amsterdam resident who was made a chief in the village of Mepe, Ghana, by tribal elders who had a vision told them he was their king in a past life. Otte – whose wife grew up in the Mepe village – doesn’t truly believe he is a reincarnated king, but has found new meaning for his life by helping out the impoverished people. Documentary filmmaker Rob Aitro says he was drawn to Otte’s story because the man is a Homer Simpson with a heart of gold. He hopes the new documentary will encourage others to help out Africans.
