ST. LOUIS (Wireless Flash) – The world will come together on October 20 if a man in St. Louis gets his wish. Mark Plattner has declared Oct. 20 as “Global Orgasm Day,” and wants consenting adults around the world to “make love, not war” for 60 minutes starting at 10 a.m. ET – no quickies allowed. Plattner believes the collective carnal activity will create a “love energy” that will heal the planet. It may sound touchy-feely but Plattner is convinced that a worldwide orgasm is a better solution to the current situation than violence, which he says “begets violence.” Although Plattner is a dreamer, even he’s skeptical that “Global Orgasm Day” will make Osama bin Laden change his tune. However, he hopes the erotic event convinces some of his followers to defect.
