‘MOLE’ HOST: ‘I’M NOT ENIGMATIC, JUST CONFUSED’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Last season, TV critics accused Anderson Cooper, host of the ABC reality series, The Mole, of trying too hard to be “enigmatic.” However, the 34-year-old now says he got a bad rap and says he was really just “confused.” Cooper admits he often didn’t know exactly what was going on and the uncertainty must have come across in his face. The Mole will kick off its second season on Friday (Sep. 28) and Cooper says this time the producers have agreed to let him show his sense of humor. Although he’s the son of jeans designer Gloria Vanderbilt, the Emmy-winning journalist cracks that he’ll never be able to follow in his mom’s fashion plate footsteps because “[hosting The Mole] is about the only thing I can do.”
