TERRORISM NOT AFFECTING KIDS HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) – America’s kids may be emotionally affected by the terrorist attacks but it isn’t making a difference in their Halloween costumes. The Disguise Costume Company reports that Power Rangers and princesses are still the most popular costume choices for kids’ Halloween costumes. About 13 percent of girls plan to be princesses this Halloween; 7 percent will dress up as Barbie and 6 percent will be Power Puff Girls. Meanwhile, 6 percent of boys will dress up as Power Rangers, 5 percent as Pokemon and 4 percent will be pumpkins. And, despite recent press reports, there actually hasn’t been an increased demand for fire fighter or cop costumes.
