RIPPED-OFF OSTRICH FARMER REFUSES TO KEEP HIS HEAD IN SAND

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (Wireless Flash) – A 67-year-old ostrich farmer claims he was ripped off by a fellow farmer who sold him two male ostriches as a “breeding pair.” Terrence Crisp, of Christchurch, New Zealand, says he hoped to hatch up a fortune in ostrich eggs but after waiting “a considerable time” for the birds to mate, he finally figured out they were both boy birds. Crisp’s lawyer, Hector Dawson, doesn’t think his client was deliberately scammed but he does think inefficiency caused what he refers to as a “cock-up.” A judge will decide later today if Crisp is entitled to $7200 in damages but Dawson is confident the award won’t be chicken feed.
