HOLOGRAPHIC SOUND SYSTEM READY FOR MOVIES

CLIFFWOOD, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – Movie-goers won’t believe their ears when they hear this: A new technology that makes the action in movies sound as if it’s taking place in the same room as the audience. The holographic sound technology is called H-CAT and has been in development for over 10 years by New Jersey-based North American Products. H-CAT generates “holographic sound objects” that appear to emanate from a stable location in mid-air, as if a real solid object were to create a sound. The system is now ready for use and the company has pitched the product to George Lucas and Steven Spielberg by offering the technology for free in one movie. So far, neither big wig has responded, but a spokesman says H-CAT is destined to make it into theaters, calling it “...the largest scientific breakthrough in decades.”
