BEER LOVERS TAPPING INTO AMERICAN SPIRIT

PITTSBURGH, Penn. (Wireless Flash) – America’s beermakers and beer drinkers hope to tap into a patriotic spirit next Thursday (Oct. 11) in a nationwide beer bust to benefit victims of the terrorist attack. Beer enthusiasts are being encouraged to gather in participating bars and pubs to raise a toast to the victims with all proceeds from beer sales going to charity. Organizer Paris Lundis says the event isn’t supposed to be a wake – he wants to celebrate the people who gave their lives for the U.S. So far, the only bars that have signed up are in Pennsylvania and Colorado but Lundis is confident funds will be flowing as much as the beer come next week.
