CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – Some health nuts will do anything in the name of fitness – even swallow crushed ants. That’s what’s happening in the United Kingdom where a beverage company is selling a new energy drink containing pulverized ants. The Global New Products Database reports the so-called “Ant Natural Stimulation” drink is filled with the bodies of crushed red and black Asian ants, which reportedly energize body cells, enhance the immune system and improve sexual function. Other oddball new products from around the globe include rose-flavored milk which is being sold in single-serving cartons in China, a German pizza that’s covered with spaghetti noodles and cheese slices made with carrot juice that are being sold in South Korea.
