THE GUILT LENNON NEEDLESSLY TOOK TO HIS GRAVE
LONDON (Wireless Flash) Today (Oct. 9) marks the 61st anniversary of John Lennons birth. Tragically, sources say Lennon felt guilty that he caused the death of his friend, Stu Sutcliffe, who died of a brain hemorrhage in 1962, a few months after Lennon kicked his head in a fight. For the rest of his life, Lennon blamed himself for killing his friend but his guilt may have been needless. According to Sutcliffes sister, Pauline, who has spent years researching her brothers death, evidence suggests Stu had previous head injuries. Although Lennons blow probably wasnt the contributing factor, Ms. Sutcliffe only started her research after Lennons death and she regrets not being able to ease the Beatles conscience.
