ORIGINAL BEATLE’S ESTATE TO GO ON AUCTION

ORIGINAL BEATLE’S ESTATE TO GO ON AUCTION

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Listen up Beatles buffs: The entire estate of original band member Stuart Sutcliffe will soon be up for auction. Next month, Mick Fleetwood’s Fleetwood Owen auction house will sell more than 400 items that belonged to the legendary “Fifth Beatle,” including hundreds of letters tracing the band’s earliest history and a cheap guitar Sutcliffe used to audition for the group. There are also more than 50 canvases of modern art painted by Sutcliffe. Auctioneer Ted Owen – who recently sold John Lennon’s “Imagine’ piano – says he’s never sold anything as historic and he’s expecting the goods will go for about $4.3 million. The auction starts November 27.
