LUXURY CRUISE SHIPS TAKE TO THE SKIES

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash) – Travelers who can’t stomach cruise ships because of seasickness will soon have an alternative – air ships. A California-based company called Aeronautiqa is opening the first airship cruise line to take the skies since the infamous Hindenburg exploded in 1937. The company hopes to get off the ground in 2004 by offering airship tours to the eastern United States, the North Pole and Latin American countries. Each helium powered airship will be able to accommodate 100 passengers and will offer luxury cuisine, entertainment and, possibly, an airborne swimming pool located over the tail of the ship. The airship flights will cost about $10,000 per person.
