MELROSE, Mass. (Wireless Flash) – Johnny Depp looks all over London for Jack the Ripper in his new movie, From Hell, but he should be looking in a children’s book store instead. According to Massachusetts-based child therapist Richard Wallace, Jack the Ripper was really Alice In Wonderland author Lewis Carroll. It may sound shocking but Wallace claims Carroll was actually an angry man who secretly included ominous materials in the books he wrote for children. Case in point: Carroll’s poem “Jabberwocky,” which Wallace claims foretells murders committed by Jack the Ripper. But the most shocking evidence may be Carroll’s own diaries. Wallace claims Carroll has no airtight alibis for his whereabouts on the nights Jack the Ripper committed his murders. From Hell opens nationally tomorrow (Oct. 19).
