UTAH GHOST SCARING UP BUSINESS FOR OLYMPICS

MIDWAY, Utah (Wireless Flash) – A ghost at a resort in Midway, Utah, may help scare up business during next year’s Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Staff at The Homestead Resort claim a female ghost named “Fanny” loves to ring a bell in the resort’s gift shop, while housekeepers claim she often slams doors in vacant rooms. Another person heard Fanny whisper the words, “We aren’t out yet.” The spook has left many maids afraid to go into some rooms by themselves, but the resort’s manager Britt Mathwich says Fanny could be good for business when the Olympics arrive. Mathwich says most guests are intrigued by the idea of a ghost – not put off.
