‘HARRY POTTER’ STAR SUFFERS ‘PETER BRADY SYNDROME’

LONDON (Wireless Flash) – The young star of the upcoming Harry Potter movie had a case of “Peter Brady syndrome” during filming. According to London’s Sun tabloid, producers had to hire a high-pitched voice double to dub dialogue for 12-year-old star Daniel Radcliffe when his voice changed during the shoot. It’s an embarrassing fiasco that filmmakers could have easily avoided, according to vocal therapist Mort Cooper. Dr. Cooper says little Daniel could have easily learned how to maintain his “higher, youthful tone” and avoid the need for a voice double with just a few minutes of vocal training. He says the studio should have hired a voice therapist to train the lad as soon as they heard the young actor’s voice crack. In fact, Cooper – the author of Change Your Voice, Change Your Life (Wilshire Book Co.) – says the training could have helped Radcliffe hold on to his pre-pubescent voice for the rest of his life.
