Conspiracy theorist Texe Marrs claims there’s evidence that suggests the anthrax attack was provoked by the tabloid’s harsh coverage of Condit earlier this year and that Condit is supposedly part of “The Illuminati,” a secret society that conspiracy buffs believe rules the world. Marrs believes the Illuminati targeted the Star because it reported allegations that Condit enjoys kinky sex. Even scarier: Marrs claims the Illuminati is behind Chandra Levy’s disappearance and that the mysterious group sacrificed her in a ritual at Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C.
