GRIZZLY ADAMS ACTOR TURNS 60 (NOV. 19)

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – It may be hard to bear but Grizzly Adams actor Dan Haggerty is turning 60 on Monday (Nov. 19). These days he’s more preoccupied with bikes than bears because when Haggerty isn’t acting he’s building exotic motorcycles – and that includes the bike that was used in the 1969 flick, Easy Rider. Haggerty says he will get to combine his two loves in his next movie, Urban Madness, a biker movie starring Gary Busey. Although he won’t be riding bikes on camera, he figures he’ll help out mechanically where he can. But Haggerty isn’t totally grizzled on Grizzly Adams. Next spring, he plans to revive the character for a new TV series in which he meets the grandson he never knew he had.
