CHRISTMAS TREE COSTS VARY BY LOCATION

WAUTOMA, Wis. (Wireless Flash) – Stumped over why Christmas trees cost so much? The answer may be “location, location, location.” That’s according to Bruce Neidermeir, a tree grower in Wautoma, Wisconsin. He says the further away you live from a Christmas tree farm, the more you will end up paying for a tree. In fact, Neidermeir says if you’re willing to cut your own tree down at a farm you can shave off as much as $15 from the price. He also says the average rental price of a Christmas tree lot is a whopping $5000 per month, which is usually passed along to consumers.
