COLLEGE PREZ CAUGHT TRYING TO INFLUENCE ‘RELIGION RATINGS’

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Wireless Flash) – A college president upset that his school was ranked “America’s Least-Religious Campus” in a college poll has been busted for trying to change the rankings. Every year, the Princeton Review polls students at 331 American colleges on a variety of topics – including how often they pray – and Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, came in dead last in this year’s survey. Upset by the low ranking, Michael McPherson decided to ask students to say they “pray a lot” in next years’ poll. Sound sinful? Maybe, but McPherson feels the school’s current low ranking gives a misleading impression of the campus, which is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. However, he now regrets asking students to stack the odds in the survey and has withdrawn his request.
