POTHEADS TO ORGANIZE ‘POTAID’

BEND, Ore. (Wireless Flash) – A husband and wife marijuana activist team is hashing out plans to put on the world’s first benefit concert for pot users: “Potaid.” Earlier this year, Jeff Jarvis and his wife Tracy of Bend, Oregon, began their media crusade to educate Americans that pot smokers aren’t the bad people the media makes them out to be. Now the cannabis-consuming couple is organizing a benefit concert called Potaid and hope to get over 100,000 music and cannabis fans to attend the sponsor funded event. The two are tight-lipped on what bands and what corporations have agreed to roll up for the show, but Tracy claims there are “several big hopefuls that will gain mainstream media attention. The projected date of the show is September 2002.
