CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – You may think you’ve received some crappy gifts – but what about a red, white and blue toilet seat that spouts off “The Star-Spangled Banner” whenever someone sits on it? Believe it or not, that’s what one Brooklyn man received from his wife when he suffered a back injury and wanted a softer toilet seat. The gift may stink but it is one of five finalists for a “World’s Funniest Gift That You’ve Returned Contest” sponsored by Sears, which will be awarding $5000 to the person with the worst gift this Wednesday (Dec. 12) in Chicago. Other goofy gifts making the cut include... A tear-off flip calendar that was only usable for six more days since it was for the current year. And, finally, a bald guy in Irving, Texas, once received a set of hair clippers.
