BIG APPLE’S POT SHORTAGE HIGHLY EXAGGERATED

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Put this in your pipe and smoke it: Recent reports of a marijuana shortage in New York have been highly exaggerated. Pot activist Dana Beal says rumors that prices of grass shot up after the September 11 attacks are nothing but a bunch of hooey. Beal admits there was a weed shortage right after the attacks, but says “...there’s always a dope drought in September because it’s just before harvest time.” He says New York’s cannibis supplies are now back to normal – but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good time to get high. Beal says law enforcement officials are using the war against terrorism as an excuse to go after medical marijuana users, and are calling pot smoking “terroristic” because the wacky weed makes folks question authority.
