ELTON JOHN: HOLDING NOTES BUT NOT HIS BLADDER
SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) – Even at the ripe old age of 54, Elton John can still hold notes when he sings. However, he’s having trouble holding his bladder. Elton recently interrupted his San Diego show right in the middle by saying, “This has never happened to me before – but I have to go pee” before walking offstage. A few minutes later, the singer returned and confessed to the crowd: “I’ve been holding that in since ‘Rocket Man,”’ which he sang about a half hour earlier. Perhaps, the leaky confession is one reason why Elton chose not to play “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.”
