GIFT WRAP GRINCHES KEEP GIVING DISCONTENT

BREWSTER, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) – It’s better to give than receive, but some folks prefer to give grief to others on how their presents were wrapped. According to psychologist Dr. Mike Nuccitelli, many “gift wrap grinches” are passive-aggressive types who’d rather gripe about the color of a ribbon than enjoy the thought behind the gift. Dr. Nuccitelli says folks who criticize gift wrapping are usually wrapped up in deeper issues but, for some reason, can’t be direct. On the other hand, PR expert and self-proclaimed “gift wrap snob” Ray Drasnin insists there needs to be standards for gift wrapping. He says people judge a book by its cover and ugly wrapping paper and sloppy scotch-taping won’t impress anyone – especially a potential romantic partner.
