‘QUEER DUCK’ RESCUED BY SHOWTIME

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – The Internet cartoon Queer Duck – voiced by gay actor Jim J. Bullock – is being taken out of the dot.com deep freeze and is moving to TV. The gay-themed cartoon originally ran on the now defunct website Icebox.com, but new episodes will start airing on Showtime in January. Bullock says he’s thrilled the cartoon is making a comeback because it’s “...the role he’s been preparing his whole life for.” He says he identifies with Queer Duck because among his friends, he’s the cheerleader but not “the bitchy one.” Bullock hasn’t recorded the cartoon for over a year now, and confesses he forgot how the duck is supposed to sound. However, once in the studio he says “...the gayer and queenier I got, it all came back.”
