SMOOTH SAILING FOR MADONNA, RITCHIE MARRIAGE?

PALM SPRINGS, Calif (Wireless Flash) – Saturday (December 22), is Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s one year wedding anniversary, and it looks like smooth sailing for the couple from here on out according to one California-based attorney. 30-year legal veteran Clark Garen says while five years is the usual benchmark to determine if a marriage will last, he thinks one year is a good indicator for the Material Girl. He says the fact that Madonna and her hubby are working on movie projects together and are together 24/7 are good signs that they will last. However, Garen admits if the marriage ever does crumble, the longer it lasts, the more alimony Madonna will have to pay Ritchie.
