Young MC Busts a Move on ‘Weakest Link’ Host

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Remember Young MC, the rapper who scored a big hit in 1990 with “Bust a Move?” Well, he’s still around and he recently busted a move on Anne Robinson during an all hip-hop edition of the Weakest Link that will also feature rappers Xzibit, Jermaine Dupri, B-Real, Da Brat, Rev. Run, Nate Dogg and DJ Quik. Young MC says when Robinson read his name tag, she said “Isn’t that name a little out of date?” However, they quickly became friendly rivals when the rapper replied, “Not as out of date as that dress, Anne.” The dissing went back and forth for the rest of the taping and Young MC says that afterwards he and Robinson chatted about how fun it had been. One thing Young MC can’t discuss is who wins the game. He says producers threatened to sue if he leaked the results of the episode before its May 28 airdate.
