SILICON VALLEY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Some might call it genius, while others might cry blasphemy, but one thing’s for sure, Brendan Powell Smith loves his Legos – even when they’re involved in naughty biblical sex scenes. The twenty-something web designer started making Lego bible sets last September, and posts them on his website in photo gallery retellings of biblical scenes. The scenes aren’t for the Sunday school set, though – they spare no graphic detail and include brutal violence and people “getting biblical.” But Smith doesn’t feel blasphemous for showing all the lurid details in Legos. He doesn’t even believe in God. In fact, Smith only starting doing “bib-legos” after realizing that Biblical tales like Sodom and Gomorrah are, in his words, “...truly bizarre and disturbing.”
