Eazy-E Stars in Gangsta Rap ‘Super Mario Bros.’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – NWA’s Eazy-E died back in 1996, but now the rapper’s starring in a new video game which shows him doing thuggish things like shooting people and picking up hookers. The object of the new Eazy-E game, Hittin’ Switchez, is to steal lowriders, pick up prostitutes and shoot anyone that gets in the way. Dominic Chan, CEO of Univessence Digital Studios, the company that created the game, calls it “the Super Mario Bros. of gangsta rap.” The PC game, which comes with a greatest hits CD/DVD package called Impact of a Legend, takes place in notoriously rough neighborhoods like Compton and Watts, and uses actual images of the neighborhoods with a soundtrack of Eazy-E songs. Chan admits the game isn’t politically correct but says that’s okay because it’s only “a fantasy gangsta experience.”
