‘Dance Party USA’ Reuniting – With Or Without Kelly Ripa

CAMDEN, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – Talk show host Kelly Ripa may not want to revisit her Dance Party USA past – but the reunion will go on without her. Even though Dance Party USA gave Ripa her big break back in the late 1980s, she has little desire to reunite and says she hasn’t seen her fellow dancers in years. She may not be able to forget her days with the big-haired ’80s dance show because show creator Michael Nise is bringing it back in the form of Dance Party Radio, a syndicated radio series featuring 1980s-era music and appearances by the teenage Ripa, Madonna and Ricky Martin. In addition, there have been a few Dance Party USA cast reunions in Philadelphia clubs, and one recent event attracted 4000 former dancers.
