Pez Candies Help Prevent ‘Witchblade’ Cancellation

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash) – Some people have lucky charms but Witchblade star Yancy Butler has lucky candy: Pez, to be exact. The series returns to TNT in June, in part because Witchblade fans bombarded corporate offices with Pez dispensers, to honor Butler’s character, Sara Pezzini. Butler thinks the effort is “sweet,” especially because she’s always been a big fan of cherry Pez. The 31-year-old actress hopes to one day return the honor by having her face appear on dispensers “so the candy comes out of my mouth.” But Pez isn’t the only product Butler wants to promote. She also hopes to resurrect the old Underoos children’s underwear with her own Witchblade-themed line. Witchblade makes its season premiere June 10.
