Soft Rock Gets Its Own Lollapalooza: The L.U.S.T. Tour

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – The man who wrote “I Love Rock And Roll” is now promoting a “Lollapalooza for lovers.” Songwriter Jake Hooker also manages music acts like Player, best known for 1977 No. 1 hit “Baby, Come Back.” He says 1970s soft rock never really died, but hopes to help it make a comeback with something called the “Love Under Stars Tonight Tour ” – L.U.S.T. for short. The soft rock tour will feature Player; Orleans of “Dance With Me” fame; and Ambrosia, who sang “How Much I Feel.” Besides the romantic soft rock on stage, Hooker plans to feature romance inducers like wine tastings, massage chairs and Viagra samples. The first L.U.S.T. Tour takes place this summer and, if enough interest is aroused, Hooker will turn it into an annual event.
