LONDON (Wireless Flash) – You can call it “Opus Ringus.” A English musician has composed a classical music suite based on the various types of ring tones from cellular phones.

CLYDEBANK, England – Something is scaring the disc jockeys at an English radio station – and it isn’t low ratings. The jocks at Radio Clyde in Clydebank, England, claim one of the studios is haunted by a spook that keeps dropping microphones on their noggins.

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Think your boss is cool? Well, the owner of the Dania Beach Hurricane Rollercoaster in Florida likes his employees so much he’s letting one of them get married on his coaster. On April 25, the happy couple will ascend to the top of the 100-foot drop, say their vows and then take the plunge. Coaster bossman Andy Hyman says that things will be kept very calm, though, so nobody falls off while going for the bouquet.

LONDON – It sounds like something from a horror movie: A “supercolony” of ants has sprung up in Europe which stretches from Northern Italy, across the south of France and north into Portugal and Spain. The BBC reports the Argentine ant colony is made up of millions of nests and billions of insects.

PALMERSTON NORTH, New Zealand – A New Zealand man is fighting a ticket police gave him for not wearing a seatbelt while riding his bicycle. Officers stopped and cited the man for not wearing a helmet, but when he read the ticket they gave him, it said he was guilty of not wearing a seatbelt.
