Former Brooke Shields Look-A-Like To Climb Mt. McKinley

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Wireless Flash) – If you see what looks like to be Brooke Shields scaling Mt. McKinley this June, take a closer look. It’s really former Shields look-a-like and model turned chiropractor, Dr. Ginger Southall, who will be climbing the 18,000 foot Alaskan peak in the name of charity. The 33-year-old Dr. Ginger says she’s never climbed a mountain before, but is training for the 23-day trek by running, swimming and lifting weights every day and even sleeping in an oxygen tent that simulates the atmosphere at 15,000 feet. She says one of her biggest challenges will be getting used to the 40 degree below zero temperatures. Once Dr. Ginger has conquered the mountain, she hopes to achieve another challenge – becoming U.S. Surgeon General.
