You’re Fried: Caribbean Hotel Handing Out Egg Timers to Sun-Worshippers

ST. JOHNS, U.S. Virgin Islands (Wireless Flash) – Caribbean sun- worshippers have it made in the shade thanks to a hotel in the U.S. Virgin Islands. In an effort to prevent sunburned guests, the Westin St. John Resort and Villas has instructed its pool boys to hand out egg timers to sunbathers along with their towels. The idea is that the hotel guests can time their tanning sessions so they don’t end up as red as a lobster from the scorching Caribbean sun. A spokeswoman says the program is a natural for the resort since most people come there for the sun.
