Singing Psychic Cracks Blake Case – To the Tune of ‘Jailhouse Rock’
DALLAS (Wireless Flash) – A self-proclaimed “singing psychic” claims she’s cracked the Robert Blake murder case with help from the Little Rascals. Fran Baskerville – who writes premonition pop songs – says the ghosts of Our Gang co-stars like Spanky and Alfalfa told her Blake didn’t kill Bonny Lee Bakley. Her tune, “Don’t Let Bobby Get Strung,” is sung to the tune of “Jailhouse Rock” and has lyrics like: The Little Rascals are hollering at me from heaven/ They say Bobby didn’t do it/ All the gang upstairs/ Say he’s being set up by an angry friend. Baskerville describes the killer as a “chubby dark man” with gray-streaked hair who has a tattoo of “a flamingo or a bird or something like that.” She says he’s a disgruntled former child actor who lost a role to the Baretta star when they were kids.
