Tribute Band Gets Medieval on Ozzy Osbourne

TALLINN, Estonia (Wireless Flash) – This has been a good year for Ozzy Osbourne, but it looks like it just got better. A Black Sabbath tribute band from Estonia is turning his music into medieval tunes. Rondellus takes Sabbath songs like “War Pigs” and plays them medieval style, complete with lutes and harps. Producer Mihkel Raud says he wants to take these songs as far as he can – hopefully, all the way to MTV’s The Osbournes. Raud says he’s currently working on sending a copy of Rondellus’s debut record, Sabbatum, to Ozzy to use on his show, though he admits he has yet to find an address for the Ozzman.
