‘L.A. Law’ Star Goes Latina
LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Former L.A. Law star Michele Greene has left the law office and gone Latina. Greene – who played Abby on L.A. Law – is also a singer and will release her debut CD, Ojo De Tiburon (Eye Of the Shark) in June. Although Greene is known as an English-language actress, she sings mostly in Spanish, a language she says is “more expressive than English” for music. But while Greene loves singing in Spanish, she’s not afraid to admit her gringo roots. She counts Johnny Cash as one of her biggest singing influences “....even though he can’t really sing.” Currently, Greene is focusing on her musical career, but is appearing on the May 18 L.A. Law reunion movie – and is thrilled with how it turned out. Still, she admits her acting dream is to play a femme fatale on a Spanish soap opera.
