‘Scorpion King’ Narrator Now Talk Of Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – The Rock isn’t the only star of The Scorpion King who is the talk of Hollywood – so is the film’s narrator. Although J.D. Hall has been a successful character actor for 20 years, he says he’s had more recognition for his narration in The Scorpion King than anything else he’s done. Not bad for a man who’s usually hired when producers can’t afford James Earl Jones. But even though Hall has gotten bombarded with attention ever since The Scorpion King’s release, he isn’t listed in the credits. The film’s producers originally hired a British actor to narrate the flick but canned him after they heard Hall’s voice. Scorpion King producers have promised Hall a bigger role in the sequel, but the 54-year-old actor hopes if he gets an on-screen role, he doesn’t have to do any fight scenes because, in his words, “I’m not really the action movie type.”
