Cross-Dressing Karaoke Queen Singing the Blues
Cross-Dressing Karaoke Queen Singing the Blues
SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) A cross-dressing singer in San Diego is singing the blues because of what he feels is a conspiracy in the karaoke community. The singer calls himself Satin and has been singing as a woman for the past seven years because, in his words, night clubs dont hire male sopranos. Satin sings at gay bars but prefers straight clubs because straight people cant tell hes in drag. Things were humming along nicely until some of his karaoke competitors wanted him to drop his drag and perform as a man, so they made a fuss to officials. Now, Satin fears his elegant dresses are being used against him in his quest to be declared Americas best karaoke singer. Still, the cross-dressing crooner isnt giving up and insists hes still the man and woman to beat at the national karaoke championships taking place this September in Laughlin, Nevada.
