‘Buckfield Ghost’ Turns Out to Be Dent from Car Accident

BUCKFIELD, ME. (Wireless Flash) – A mysterious ghost that has been baffling folks at a Buckfield, Maine, gas station has had the sheet pulled off it. According to Sandy Thompson, who owns the station, a mysterious image of a deer recently appeared on one of the diesel pumps, which led some folks to call it the “Buckfield Ghost.” However, she says she’s figured it out, and it’s not a spook. Thompson thinks it’s just a light trick caused by nearby streetlights and a dent made when a truck backed into the pump. Still, one thing Thompson can’t explain is why the spooky light trick just started happening now, since the truck backed into the pump a year and a half ago.
