Moms Speak From Beyond the Grave

TUCSON, Ariz. (Wireless Flash) – Folks who’ve lost their moms don’t have to miss out on Mother’s Day: They can get their mothers to speak to them from beyond the grave. It’s easy, according to author Sinclair Browning, who has just published Feathers Brush My Heart: True Stories of Mothers Touching Their Daughters’ Lives After Death (Warner Books). She’s personally been contacted by her mom several times, and says it’s often just a matter of asking your mother’s spirit to “check in.” Browning suggests you start by asking out loud, “Hey mom, I’d like to hear from you.” Repeat the phrase aloud several times a day for a week. She says chances are good your mom will send you a sign – usually something that only has meaning to the two of you. In Browning’s case, her mom’s spirit kept sending her white feathers – a reference to a breathing exercise she did while alive where she blew a feather into the air while saying “I love you.”
