Color Expert: Colors in Spider-Man’s Costume Can Make You Tingle

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – If watching the movie Spider-Man gets your blood pumping, it may have something to do with the super-hero’s costume. According to Jay Di Sibour, president of the Color Marketing Group, looking at the colors of Spider-Man’s costume can have a visceral effect on the human body. Di Sibour claims the crimson color can evoke physical responses like increased heart rate and sweaty palms while the blue sections of Spidey’s costume make you feel excited. Although he admits you can’t go wrong with reds and blues, he says other good costume colors include: purple, because it appeals to both men and women and can make a wearer look sophisticated; and green, because it gives an unearthly feeling.
