Photographer Captures Rolling Stones Being Crude

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman may have been the “quiet Stone” but he got away with the dirtiest language, according to one former employee. TV cameraman Jerry Martin, author of an upcoming book, The Rolling Stones: The First Rock Video (Silver Rock), worked with the Stones on three music videos back in 1978 and says during one song, Wyman insisted on wearing a shirt with the letters “F,” “A” and “G” burned out with cigarettes. Although “fag” is also British slang for cigarettes, Martin tried talking Wyman out of wearing the shirt. However, Wyman wouldn’t budge and finally Martin decided, “If he’s not worried, neither am I.” The Rolling Stones have just announced their first tour in three years starts September 5 in Boston, but don’t expect Wyman to be there. He left the group in 1992 and Darryl Jones will be handling the duties this time around.
